Kitchen Fire Suppression

Running a busy restaurant can be stressful, and sometimes kitchen maintenance gets pushed to the back burner—which could be dangerous for your guests and employees. The kitchen is one of the most common places for a fire to start. According to the National Fire Protection Association, there is an average of 8,240 fires at restaurant a year. Around 40% of restaurant fires start in the kitchen.  This is why having your kitchen fire suppression system inspected semi-annually is essential for preventing an out of control fire. Without a kitchen fire suppression system in working order, your property, occupants, and business are at a much greater risk. The survival of your business may depend on your kitchen hood fire suppression system’s ability to detect and suppress flames before they become uncontrollable. Commercial kitchen fires can ignite in the blink of an eye, and without a dependable fire suppression system they can be detrimental to your employees, customers, and property.
